David Archbold


David Archbold is an arts manager, curator and art historian. Having graduated with a 1st class Masters degree in Art History from University College Dublin in 2016, David has been conducting research and working as an arts professional ever since.

David has worked in various aspects of the art world, from project managing public and private art collections, to managing a contemporary art gallery. From 2020 David Archbold offered his services as a freelance art advisor, consultant, curator, copy-writer and project manager. David is currently an Exhibition Coordinator at the National Gallery of Ireland.

David is continually producing new research as an art historian, specifically in relation to the mathematics of Ancient Greek & Roman Sculpture. His work as an art historian also influences his artistic practice, as he also produces original artworks inspired by his art historical research.
